Motueka镇的入口，Entrance of Motueka City
Like I said before, I had been cheated to Motueka…
Since I had to stay here for quite a long time…
Have to spent some time to discover the beauty of this town~

Motueka的博物馆，Motueka Museum...
From the Museum:
Motueka had been a main city in New Zealand before…
Because there were huge agricultures work such as Kiwi, Apple, Mandarin, Grape~
And there was a port over this town…
Mean there were trading and developing in this town during old time~

But now It just a little small town if compared to other cities…
Though small, It have all the things to live on:

  1. Super Market

    There were Countdown and New World supermarket over here~
    Count DownNew World
    The Ware House, a really complete store!
    The Ware House
    A little Asian Shop provide hometown memories…

    There was no worry for buying stuff in this town~

  2. Second Hand Shop

    For me, second hand shop was the best place for me to “reload”
    And there were 4 second hand shop over this town!

    救世军二手店，Salvation Army Family StoreThe Hospice Shop Second Hand Shop，二手店

  3. Fast Food

    Lazy to cook? There was a KFC and McDonald provide cheap fast food~
    And there was Indian Food, Malaysian Food, Fish and Chips…
    All of them were not too expensive…

  4. Sunday Market

    Motuke，周日市场，Sunday Market 小时候的回忆：冰淇凌车，Kid's dream car : Ice Cream Car
    The price over south island was really higher…
    But during Sunday, there was a Sunday Market selling super cheap, super large, super fresh vegetables and fruits~

  5. Little Shop

    If you can’t wait for Sunday, there were some little shop over the street…
    The fruit/vegetable sold in these shops was cheap and fresh!
    But the problem was they located far away from each other, and sometimes out of stock~
    These were some shops I discovered…

  6. Public Service

    There was a Library which provide you free internet~
    The i-site over here provide free transport and accommodation booking for 2 national park:
    Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Park…

    Bored? There was a Cinema with 3D too~

  7. Some Parks

    Since there was a port, there was a beach…
    And they develop a really good walkway for the beach~

    During free day, I can take a relax walk over the beach


    Another Special for this town: Huge Tide Different!
    So tide table is important for Abel Tasman Great Walk…
    涨潮，Hoigh Tide退潮，Low Tide
    潮汐差！Huge Tide Different!

  8. Work

    The huge area of orchard provide works from Feb to Aug…
    Beside there was a Talley’s Factory which provide work in mussel and fish department all over the year…
    During Hoki Season (Winter), Talley’s also provide work for WHVer
    So there were many WHVer in this little town…

Beside, Many cyclist around here because the road was kinda flat~
Since I don’t have a car, I bought my little bicycle do some “travel” with me~
我买了！I bought it!

Hope I can enjoy the time I stay here and discover more beauty of this town~

Nelson——城市一日游

很特别的钟楼，IRD clock tower
去了Nelson Lake，当然也要去Nelson City…
周六刚好Nelson有周六市场…
所以就计划了Nelson一日游：

  1. Nelson 周六市场

    Nelson，周六市场，Saturday Market人山人海，people mountain people sea(a lot of people)~
    Nelson与Motueka很相像，都是充满艺术的城市…
    所以这里的周六市场，也是充满艺术品的地方（大约50%都是）
    他们也很喜欢青色（翡翠青），A lot green color Artwork3D 拼图，3D Puzzle
    铝罐的艺术，Recycle Art它的螺旋桨还会转的哦～ It propeller will turn when blew by wind~
    好好吃哦！Yummy!近距离看是不是有一点不真实？因为它们是肥皂哦！Look unreal right? Because they are soap!

  2. 路过魔戒的出生地

    有看过魔戒的人，应该也知道魔戒是由魔王索伦打造出来的…
    但是魔王索伦是在哪里做出来的呢？
    答案就在这件小店哦～

  3. Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson

    这是一座古老的教堂，当然也是拍照的好地点～
    教堂里面的颜色彩窗，巨大的管风琴也是一个看点…

     

  4. 书中的 Penguino 冰淇凌店

    Penguino，出名的冰淇凌，A famous Ice-Cream纽西兰打工旅行273天
    我们跟着这本书中的介绍，到了Penguino 冰淇凌店

    如传闻版，这里的冰淇淋味道十分的细腻，精致！
    我点的是招牌上的黑加仑口味的冰淇凌～
    价格：3.80 NZD
    我买了黑加仑口味，I bought the Blackcurrant Sorbet记得要来这里咯～ Remember, penguino in Nelson
    也许那个老板娘（应该是？）也喜欢黑加仑，结果她还送了我多一舀口味相近的费约果冰淇凌！
    太感恩了！！
    感恩，老板娘给我免费加料！费约果口味！Thanked for free add-on! Feijoa Flavor!
    我们享用到一半，老板还拿出这本书，问我们是不是因为这本书而来！

  5. 纽西兰的中心

    我到达纽西兰的中心了！I was at the center of NZ!
    原本我们以为纽西兰的中心是在平地，没想到竟然是在一个山顶！
    结果走了好远的路，爬了好高的山，我们终于到达了纽西兰的中心！

    至于这个中心是怎样找出来的，你可以自己慢慢看～

  6. 天堂薯条鱼片

    Haven Fish & Chip，出名的鱼片，A Famous Fish and Chip
    同样是因为部落格介绍，我们到达了这件出名的鱼片店～
    爬了1小时的山，拖到3点都还没吃物餐，原本以为能够好好的享受一下了…
    但是没想到它竟然有午休时间1点到4点半！
    里4点半还有1个小时半！肚子真的会饿扁了！
    不过都从这样远到了这里，我们只好等…
    没想到休息到4：30，只好到附近等等，It closed until 4:30pm, have to wait around it去灯塔的渡船，Ferry to lighthouse一个小小的港口，A mini port

    到了4点，我们就干脆厚着脸皮在店前等…
    感恩店员看到我们这样“等吃”，就好心提早半个小时开裆～
    终于饿扁的肚子有的救了…

    我点了当天的特价鱼：Moki，半杯薯条和超级热狗（真的太饿了）
    价格：10.30 NZD
    终于开了！为了我们她早半个小时开了！Finally she's open! she open half hours earlier beacuse of us!Moki鱼，薯条，超级热狗！Moki Fish, Chip and Super Hot Dog!
    这里的鱼片，并没有想象中大…
    不过新鲜度是绝对的！因为是直接用鲜鱼去炸…
    薯条和热狗就没有什么特别～
    不过到最后我真的吃不完热狗，真的是太大了～
    （不过如果要建议买普通的热狗，因为它只是多了一层比较厚的面粉皮）

这就是在Nelson城市一整天的几个大点…
其中在路途还有看到纽西兰人士如何训练他们的狗狗：
（在马来西亚根本不可能发生！）

除了食物，我还有小小的战利品：
也就是在纽西兰撑了这样久，我也终于买了贴身保暖背心～
价格：19.95 NZD 一件
熬了这样久，终于买了紧身暖衣。Finally bought thermal wear after so long~

After went to Nelson Lake, Time for Nelson City…
Since there was a Saturday Market in Nelson, we planned a Saturday Nelson City one dya trip

  1. Nelson Saturday Market

    Nelson，周六市场，Saturday Market人山人海，people mountain people sea(a lot of people)~
    Like Motueka, Nelson was also a City full of art…
    So up to 50% of the store in the Saturday Market was selling Artwork…

  2. Pass by the born place of The One Ring

    Every The Lord Of The Ring fan knew that Sauron made The One Ring…
    But where he made The One Ring?
    The answer was the little shop below~

  3. Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson

    This was a really old church, a good place for photography~
    The Organ and colourful window inside were really amazing views…

     

  4. A Ice-Cream Shop from book: Penguino

    Penguino，出名的冰淇凌，A famous Ice-Cream纽西兰打工旅行273天
    We followed the introduction of this book to the Penguino Ice-Cream Shop

    The taste of the Ice-Cream just like described in the book, Tasty, Fine and Luxury!
    I ordered a Blackcurrant Sorbet, the flavour they put for their ads~
    Cost: 3.80NZD
    我买了黑加仑口味，I bought the Blackcurrant Sorbet记得要来这里咯～ Remember, penguino in Nelson
    Maybe the reception (or boss’s wife) also like blackcurrant, we free me one more scoop of Feijoa Flavour, which similar to Blackcurrant flavour~
    Thousand of appreciate!

    Finally, we had a chance to meet the boss and told him we came here because of that book!

  5. The Center of the New Zealand

    我到达纽西兰的中心了！I was at the center of NZ!
    At the beginning, we thought the center of the New Zealand was not far away…
    After a few distance of walk, we found that it was on a summit!
    Finally we walk for a long way to the center of New Zealand~

  6. Haven Fish & Chips

    Haven Fish & Chip，出名的鱼片，A Famous Fish and Chip
    We came here also because of introduction of a blog~
    When we reached here 3pm, we thought we can enjoy our lunch after 1 hour walk…
    But it had afternoon break from 1pm until 4:30pm!
    We still have to wait another 1 and a half hour for our lunch!
    But we still willing to wait for it since we already came that far…
    没想到休息到4：30，只好到附近等等，It closed until 4:30pm, have to wait around it去灯塔的渡船，Ferry to lighthouse一个小小的港口，A mini port

    When 4 pm, we couldn’t stand anymore and wait in front the shop…
    Thanked God the reception pity us and one half hour earlier than schedule~

    I ordered Fish of the day: Moki, Half Scoop of Chips and Super Hot Dog
    Price: 10.30 NZD
    终于开了！为了我们她早半个小时开了！Finally she's open! she open half hours earlier beacuse of us!Moki鱼，薯条，超级热狗！Moki Fish, Chip and Super Hot Dog!
    The fish was not as big as described in the book…
    But it’s super duper fresh!
    The chips and hot dog had nothing special~
    But the Super Hot Dog was really big until I couldn’t finish it~
    (I suggest if you want to try out the hot dog, just buy the regular one since the “super” only add one more layer of powder coating)

These were a few points we visited during the one day trip…
We also saw how New Zealand people train their dog:
(impossible in Malaysia!)

Lastly, I still have my little shopping for this trip:
